Ricardo has been involved in every aspect of the food justice space for over four years. During his time as Bondadosa's CEO, he has grown the company from a tricycle-powered grocery delivery service to a state wide distribution network and innovation incubator. When not working in the community, you can find Ricardo enjoying a cup of local coffee at Huckberry Roasters.
Chief Operations Officer
Marcos was the first hire at Bondadosa, and has seen the company as it's evolved over the years! Marcos has a passion for working with every member of the Bondadosa team to make sure we are doing our best to run smoothly and efficiently. He is currently pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Engineering, and has over five years of experience in the logistics and warehousing space. In his free time Marcos enjoys hiking and spending time with his family.
Chief of Staff
Dom Barrera is a Co-Founder of FaithBridge, an education advocacy organization located in the Metro Denver Area. Currently, Dom is leading for the Colorado Food Cluster, which provides jobs, free home-delivered meals to students, and enrichment activities across the Denver Metro area. Bringing his Denver roots and years of engagement within the Denver Public School system and outside, Dom’s immense knowledge of education and workforce development efforts are core to the development of Bondadosa engagement and program development. As a former Obama Field Organizer and Conservation Colorado Regional Field Director and Campaign Manager for many local campaigns, Dom has dedicated his career to increasing community engagement between different agencies and issues.
Director of Partnerships
Maggie was raised on WIC, SNAP, FRL & other assistance programs. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition-Dietetics with the mindset of improving these systems. She's been working in community health and/or production & logistics since 2012, supporting growing businesses and food- or health-access organizations. Maggie weaved together these skills in 2019, when she produced multiple complex programming components for Slow Food Nations -- an event that focused on the interconnectedness of land, water, culture and justice. Here at Bondadosa, Maggie proudly leads Partnerships with nonprofits, government agencies, and small businesses to strengthen the regional foodshed. When she's not doing this passion-work, you can find Maggie soaking up books, TED talks and playful fitness (yoga, tai chi, BJJ, and more)!
Human Resources Manager
Yerena Gonzalez serves as the Human Resource Manager for Bondadosa. Yerena is bringing years of Human Resource experience to the team. Prior to joining Bondadosa, she helped lead human resource functions in small to mid-size companies. She is certified in Computer Systems Engineering specialized in Robotics. Her areas of expertise include compliance and best practices, HR infrastructure, and policy and procedure development. She likes to enjoy nature and outdoor activities such as hiking during her free time, and she is excited to lead all human resource matters within Bondadosa.
Sienna manages Bondadosa's customer data, working to streamline and optimize processes. She is leading the implementation of Salesforce to build upon Bondadosa's foundation to support a healthier food ecosystem in Colorado and beyond! Prior to Bondadosa, She worked as a field scientist for environmental nonprofits in the Bay Area, collecting water quality data to support stormwater pollution litigation and teaching students about wildlife. Fun fact: she knows how to safely wrangle stingrays and (small-ish) sharks (which doesn't come up very often in Colorado, but you never know!). She hopes to to pursue a masters' degree in Environmental Science someday. Her ultimate goal is to use science, graphic design, and a little bit of humor to leave the world a better place.
Koby Dobbs is the Warehouse manager at Bondadosa. Throughout his childhood in Flowery Branch, GA, Koby always had a passion for the environment and taking care of the communities. this led him to attend and graduate from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science in Geographical Information Systems and Environmental Science. After finishing his Bachelors degree, he was admitted into the Master of Science program at the University of Denver, for Environmental Policy and Supply Chain Management. Working with Bondadosa has allowed him to pursue supply chain and risk challenges that can help us reach further than we ever have and enrich the lives of thousands more people. Over then next few years he hopes to graduate from DU, and still be working towards increasing access to quality goods by innovating today's supply chain systems.
Caroline Patton resides in Kentucky and is currently earning a second degree in Health Science Administration from the University of West Florida. She also earned her Six Sigma Green Belt Certification, focusing on project and change management. In 2012, Caroline received with the Congressional Award Gold Medal by the U.S. Congress for her exemplary community service and dedication to youth leadership development. In 2015, the White House presented her with the President’s Volunteer Service Award for her service to at-risk youth in Appalachia. She has received other honors including World Youth Ambassador Delegate to the United Nations, Segal AmeriCorps Education Award, and the People to People International Scholarship. As a single mom to her young son, Caroline has a passion and deep understanding about the importance of addressing sustainable solutions.
Born and raised in Maryland, Nora moved out to CO for college and never looked back! Nora was working as a scientist when the pandemic hit. During quarantine she started volunteering her time to help Denver Metro Emergancy Food Network - a nonprofit partner of Bondadosa in 2020. She quickly fell in love with the team and the mission, decided to leave science to try out a new path. She has always had a passion for social justice and helping people, and has been enjoying the change of pace of working in a community-impact-centric workplace. Since her career change, Nora has been exploring her passions, and hopes to continue her higher education in a way that combines her love of science and supporting communities. In her free time she is involved in the Denver aerial arts community, and can be found trying to soak up as much good weather in Colorado's parks and mountains.
Director of Transportation
José is the head of transportation, helping our team of over 30 drivers navigate the ins and outs of delivery. Originally from Aguascalientes, Mexico, he moved to Vail, Co as a teen. Here he work in the kitchen industry in resort restaurants, but with the goal to keep working on pursuing education. In his free time he loves hanging out with friends and family.
José moved to Denver to study Construction Project Management and found Bondadosa through a close friend. The passion he saw in the team to help those in need get access to resources inspired him to be part of the team. In his free time José enjoys
Ana graduated from the Universidad de Ibagué in Colombia with a degree in International Business Administration in 2017. Ana has spent extended time volunteering in Latin America. During her time abroad, she taught English to underprivileged children in Peru and she assisted students with disabilities in Mexico. She began her professional career with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in San Sebastian, Colombia. Now she is pleased to serve the community in her new home of Denver.
Born on a Dairy farm in upstate New York, Mica Button has been involved in many aspects of sustainable agriculture from childhood. Being raised in rural north eastern Colorado, Mica was heavily involved in 4H Club, Self sustainability and Athletics. She is passionate about teaching people how to have a wellness-inspired lifestyle no matter a person's demographic -- and the heart of that is fair and equal access to nourishing and healthy food. She started with Bondadosa as a delivery agent and has been leading within the rapidly growing transportation team since May of 2020. In her free time, she loves spending time with her daughter and baby son, lifting weights, playing & coaching volleyball, cycling and pretty much anything outdoors.

Customer Support Manager
Janel has a varied and storied background before joining the Bondadosa family. Her experience is heavily based in the service/health industries which includes food service, dental assisting, community outreach support, and volunteering when her skills can be best utilized to help operations [quite literally at times] run smoothly. When she is not using her ruling planet energies [Mercury!] within Bondadosa, you can find her consuming sci-fi in all forms, hula hooping, or riding her bike.
Customer Support Specialist
Sabrina has been working with Bondadosa since April of 2020 starting as a delivery driver and has since transitioned to Customer Support. She has 15 years of customer service experience and 5 years of experience in customer service training. She’s working on becoming a more competent Spanish speaker and hopes to become more fluent in the next year! (O al menos adguirir habilidades basicas de conversacion!) One of her favorite pastimes is attending live music, which she hopes is something she can participate in again soon!
Customer Support Specialist
Diana has been part of the Bondadosa family since April 2020 as a customer service specialist! Diana’s passion for helping people makes it easier for her to accommodate to each of her customer's questions or problems. As a bilingual Spanish and English speaker, Diana makes sure to use the best of her skills to help everyone- whether that's customers or her coworkers! Currently, Diana is pursuing her degree in Nursing and her goal is to one day be a Neonatal Nurse. She also has her own cleaning services business, Monarcas Cleaning. When she’s not working at Bondadosa she’s expanding her own business! In her free time, Diana enjoys hiking, snowboarding, biking, swimming, and doing things that allow her to enjoy the beautiful yet unpredictable weather of Colorado!
Customer Support Specialist
Rosina also goes by Rosi! She has been working at Bondadosa since January 2021. She has years of customer service working in retail, call centers, working as an administrative assistant at different housing authorities and has worked in the health care industry more than 10 years. Her two sons work at Bondadosa and she lives in the neighborhood close to the office. At times, you might see her and her two dogs Johnny and Jypsy walking around. She spends her time away from with family or friends and she likes to cook, dance and enjoys traveling.
